Terms and Conditions of participation for the “VITA Digital Denture”- competition and information with respect to the storage and processing of personal data

The following terms and conditions apply to participation in the prize competition held by VITA Zahnfabrik, which will take place in the context of the following event:

Kongres DIGITAL WORKFLOW CONCEPT‘ 26 from Thursday, September 17, 2026, to Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Józefów, Poland.

Participation in this competition is free of charge.

2. Content, determination of the winner and issuance of the prize

The competition will take place on-site, as part of the aforementioned event on September 18, 2026 and 19. September 2026. Winners will be drawn from among participants who complete and submit the entry form at the VITA booth at the conference, provide full contact information, and correctly answer the competition question.

One prize will be awarded, consisting of a set of two shade guides: one VITA CLASSICAL A1-D4® shade guide and one VITA SYSTEM 3D-MASTER® Tooth guide.

The winner will be publicly announced during the event and on the VITA Facebook page and other VITA social media platforms. The prize will be awarded immediately after the winner is announced at the conference. The competition results will be announced on September 19, 2026.

3. Date of event

Participation in the competition is only possible on the following day: September 18, 2026, from 09.00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

The prize draw will take place on September 19, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at the event and the winner will be announced on September 19, 2026, after 11:30 a.m. at the congress and afterwards on the VITA Facebook page (see above).

4. Eligible participants

Legal representatives and employees of VITA Zahnfabrik as well as their relatives and persons who live with them in a common household are excluded from participation.

Participation in the prize draw is limited to persons with a minimum age of 18 years.

Due to the technical nature of the prizes, participation is restricted to practising dental professionals working in dental laboratories and dental clinics.

Multiple entry is excluded. Each participant may enter the competition only once.

In the event of fraud or attempted manipulation, VITA Zahnfabrik reserves the right to exclude participants without giving reasons.

5. Use of personal data for the implementation of the competition and for advertising purposes

To register for the competition at the congress, the participants must enter their first name, surname, name of company, postal address, e-mail and telephone number on the competition form.

By participating in the competition, the participants accept the terms of participation and declare consent to the use of the disclosed personal data for the competition and the determination of the winner, the announcement of the winner’s name and image on the VITA Facebook page and other social media sites and for dispatching the prize.

The personal data will only be used, in accordance with Article 6 para.1 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), for the running of the competition and the announcement of the winner. Personal data of the participants will not be used for marketing purposes or advertising and will not be forwarded to any third party unless explicit consent has been provided on the competition form.

If no request for contact regarding marketing or advertising purposes was selected by the participants (by means of a simple selection on the competition form), personal data of the participants will be deleted/destroyed after the winner has been drawn or, in the case of the winner, after the prize has been dispatched. If a request for contact was selected by the participants, VITA Zahnfabrik has the right to process and store the participants’ personal and company data for marketing purposes or advertising by VITA Zahnfabrik in accordance with Article 6 para.1 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Participants have the right to revoke their consent to the storage and processing of their personal data at any time, e.g. by sending an email to datenschutz@vita-zahnfabrik.com. The legality of the storage and processing of the personal data prior to the revocation of consent is not affected by this. Upon revocation of consent by participants, VITA Zahnfabrik will delete the personal data without undue delay, if the personal data are no longer needed for the purposes of the implementation of the prize draw (see paragraphs 2 and 3).

The participants have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection in accordance with Art. 15 to 21 GDPR.

VITA can only delete content published on its own social media channels. Any further processing of personal data by Meta platforms is governed by Meta's privacy policy, available at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/. Content shared by third parties may remain visible and cannot be removed by VITA.

In case of dispute with respect to the storage or processing of personal data, the participants have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

The data controller is the Organizer, i.e. Vita Zahnfabrik. The contact details of VITA Zahnfabrik are indicated in item no.1.

6. Prohibition of coupling

Participation in the competition is free of charge and does not depend on purchase of any product or the use of any service provided by VITA Zahnfabrik.

7. Applicable law

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall exclusively govern all legal relationships arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions of Participation and Data Protection Provisions.
